Within a year, he had joined the Oklahoma Association of Pupil Transportation and was giving talks on team building at various state conferences. Te tennis industry reclaimed him for three years as he served in the prestigious role of USTA executive director for Georgia. Following a diversifying of interests, he began teaching physical education at Cobb County School District in 2001. Tere, he distinguished himself by attending the Teacher Leader Institute, graduating from the district’s Leadership Academy and being named his school’s Teacher of the Year in 2006. After returning to school for a post-master’s degree certificate in educational leadership, he served as assistant principal for Lassiter High School during 2007.
