Jennayrose: I’m 22, I live in LA Mesa, CA. I work as a front desk associate at massage envy. I got this tattoo at The Grand Reaper in Hillcrest, CA by Chris Primm. Four years ago I rescued my cat Sadie from the Bonita animal shelter. I really was more excited to get to have a little fur ball running around, but when we were fi lling out the paper- work the vet on site came in to tell me how happy she was that I adopted her. Her put down date was the very next day. I couldn’t believe my luck and timing. She has been nothing short of a best friend to me since I got her. Three years ago I decided to get this tattoo, yes my little Indian kitty is my favorite one I have. She has seriously taught me so much and I really wouldn’t be the lady I am today without her.

kymmee: “Buy the Ticket, Take the Ride” -Hunter S. Thompson I just got this tattoo, with my new friend Anya, on Saturday 9/26/15; It is on my right forearm. I live in Mission Hills, San Diego. I am 28 years old, and I am an entrepreneur. The reason I got this tattoo, is because I felt it necessary to express myself and to verbalize my cur- rent mental and spiritual state of being, so to speak. I am an existentialist. The signifi cance of this/like most of Gonzo writing/philosophy, is that there always exists a balance in energy or forces. The meaning to me is, we exist and we make choices; why overthink or doubt when action leads to purpose or lesson. Buy the ticket...take initiative... and take the ride...take chances/accept whatever is, whether good or bad. We are only human, so we have to accept things we cannot control and be confi - dent in our many paths taken.

Send us a photo of your tattoo and win $25! Describe why you got the tat, what it means to you, plus where you got it, where you live, your age, and job.
