at 18 Watts. Impressive in its simplicity, the new design makes a big difference when it comes to enhancing the look of any pool without compromising on the power. Water-Tec has been providing LED lighting since 2005. Fairlocks Pool Products became their first UK distributor in 2014 and have promoted their products to a much wider audience. Paramount Pools have recently also been appointed as the UK’s second distributors and have just commissioned Water-Tec to create the new LED lamp for the Aqua Sana, in Center-Parcs Elveden.

EVA OPTIC’S FIXED COLOUR UNDERWATER LIGHTS WITH FLEXIBLE CHOICES

While underwater lighting is not mandatory in most swimming pools, it is often used to improve safety in the pool. Powerful underwater lighting greatly enhances visibility in the basin and is therefore a very effective tool for lifeguards. EVA Optic, European specialist in pool lighting, has developed a new series of underwater lights for public and residential pools. pools and pool steps. The wide beam angle ensures an evenly lit pool down to the bottom. The B1 is a very powerful LED underwater lamp which is ideally suited for prefabricated spas and pools, whirlpools and steam rooms.

Unique for both lights, even though these are fixed colour lights, the actual colour can be selected at installation. These new EVA Optic lights have multicoloured LEDs (5-wired), the light colour is determined by connecting the respective wires. If opting for only one fixed colour proves difficult, you can easily upgrade your lighting to a DMX controlled RGBW system with an electronics upgrade kit. You can then change the options with a DMX controller and your tablet PC. EVA Optic has years’ of experience in illuminating pools with LED solutions. Lighting in a swimming pool has a lot to endure; heat, moisture and chlorine vapours play an important role and the lighting system should be able to withstand these factors 24 hours, for many years. EVA Optic also offers LEDconcepts, standardised LED solutions for basic illumination in indoor swimming pools and sports facilities. The concepts have been developed for the most common size swimming pools and sports halls. The powerful LED solutions by EVA Optic can illuminate spaces according to international standards, up to Olympic levels. With a relatively low investment each swimming pool is equipped with sustainable LED pool lights. Over 250 public swimming pools have EVA Optic LED lighting under water, above water or throughout the entire pool facility.
