Bucks New University introduces a new undergraduate degree course in Sports Therapy


Te BSc (Hons) Sports Terapy is a three- year undergraduate degree taught at the University’s new Human Performance Exercise and Wellbeing Centre, which will be opening at the High Wycombe campus in time for the new academic term in Autumn 2015.


B Te course is accredited by the Society of


Sports Terapists and programme includes modules including Soſt Tissue Management, Bioenegetics, Biomechanics and Functional Anatomy and Kinanthropometry. Te course will also develop the professional and practical skills required for students to achieve registration as sports therapists. Te programme has a stimulating multi- disciplinary focus combining aspects such as sport and exercise science, rehabilita- tion, health, management, and sports injury. Central to the course experience is develop- ment of the competencies required to be an effective, confident professional who is able to provide first class care to a range of sport, exercise, and recreational participants.


Te course offers you:  opportunities for ‘hands-on’ practical work  practice-based learning experiences throughout the programme
