Movers & shakers COMPANY EXPANSION

BNS LAUNCHES NEW DIVISION

BNS Property Management, which looks after apartment blocks, flats, housing estates and large properties converted for multiple occupation in the South West of England, has launched a new service, BNS Retirement Living. The new branch will manage property requirements for retirement homes and sheltered retirement communities across the region, maintaining communal areas and providing a 24/7 call out service for any issues.

BNS managing director Andrew Simmonds said: “This is a really exciting area for us as we've gained a reputation in the region for being fast to react and very reliable which is going to be important with our retirement clients.

“BNS is very big on community involvement

and retirement complexes are little communities of their own. It has been known for management companies to exploit those living in housing structures like this, charging over the odds for services and not completing jobs to a high enough standard. We will ensure the service we provide is affordable, transparent and ethical.”

BNS Property Management is based in Downend and looks after over 230 blocks in the South West. Run by brothers Andrew and Ian Simmonds it has established itself as one of the region's leading property managing agents offering different levels of service for both large and small properties.

BNS has also announced that Maxine Matthews has joined the company, where she will oversee the health and safety practises of all 230 blocks managed by the firm across the South West.

Maxine will also be responsible for carrying out internal training, compiling risk assessments and managing the safety of contractors.
