box. In front of the amp is a very loud six-horn set that plays the StarTrek theme. The horn, a gift from my good friend Graz Righetto, came directly from his uncle’s factory in Italy. It ended up as a truly international


project with a number of cool components coming from many parts of the world. I am grateful to all the friends and


many legendary musicians who have helped bring my vision to life. Now I can’t wait for the warm


weather to come so I can finally go cruisin’ in my new toy.


The guitar is autographed by Brian Cooper and Dick Cooper of the Cooper Brothers band. When you stand behind the truck


you look at a very cool pickup bed. Bob Johnson of Johnson Welding Works made the custom aluminum gas tank. On the other side of the bed


is another identical aluminum box (also built by Bob Johnson) that holds ninety-five 45rpm records (in original sleeves). The box is held open by another microphone with a flexible stand. In the middle of the bed, a Gibson guitar amplifier serves as the battery


Dave Woolley writes: Larry Way is a legend in the classic car world, not only in Ottawa but all of Canada and the United States. He’s considered a Top 10 judge in North America. He was inducted into The Canadian Street Rod Association Hall of Fame in 1983. He produces The Bandit Motorsports Car Show Series (13 summer shows) in the Ottawa area.
