PHF: What advice would you give someone who is in or want to get out of domestic abuse? HI:

First always...Pray. Tell your God that He knows all and sees all. If the abuser

does not want to go through counseling, call the police so they can get you to a safe place and leave. Remember, if he did it once, refused counseling, he will do it again. Do not ever call the abuser again.

PHF: If you could have dinner with three people, who would they be and why? HI: 1. Precious Love — She is a survivor of domestic violence. She understands the struggle that many face. She has dedicated her time and works diligently to reach out to women in domestic violence relationships. She is an amazing inspiration to myself and other women.

2. Shirley Caesar —A spiritual leader, Pastor, Gospel Artist. Her music has always been an inspiration in my life. When I listen to her music, I always feel as if she is speaking directly to me.

3. A woman in a facility —that is going through the first step in getting out of a domestic abuse relationship. I would embrace her and let her know she made the right decision. To let her know there is hope. She is loved. She did nothing to deserve domestic abuse, and she is not alone. The hardest and most important step is to forgive and pray for the abuser. God will do the rest.
