It’s very rural, laid back. We have some of the most friendly people.

I got started in county government because: I was looking for a career opportunity for my future. I worked in the Little River County Collector’s office and have over 30 years of bookkeeping experience. The circuit clerk position came open, and I jumped at the opportunity with excitement. I have now served for four terms, and I am looking forward to working until retirement.


My favorite meal: Anything Mexican.


When I’m not working I’m: Making memories with my beautiful granddaughter, Rhiannon!


The accomplishments of which I am most proud: I’ve been married to Tom Billingsley for over 42 years.


The hardest thing I have ever done is: Losing a child.


my swimming pool, taking oil painting lessons and working on my Bucket List.


If I wasn’t a county treasurer/collector, I’d be: At home working in my flower beds, swimming in


You might be surprised to learn that: I am terrified of birds!


My pet peeve is: “Passing the Buck.”
