1 in 5 ImmunoCAP testing

The ImmunoCAP test uses a single blood sample. Over 200 allergens can be tested using this sample. Your doctor will decide which ones to test you for. ImmunoCAP is ideal because: • You only have to be stuck once, even when being tested for many allergens • You don’t have to stop taking antihistamines for several days while the test is being done • It detects 11 specific allergens in children who are 3 months to 5 years of age • You don’t have to worry about pain from possible reaction(s) • You may avoid co-pays for visits to a specialist • You don’t have to worry about a possible skin reaction

Fifth leading chronic disease in the U.S. among all ages

Americans suffers from a type of allergy.

Third most common chronic disease in children under 18 years old

The cause of limited activity in more than 40% of children with the condition

What allergy testing is available?

There are two different ways to be tested: a skin prick test (SPT) or a blood test such as the ImmunoCAP® test. Both tests are very accurate.

Skin prick testing During a skin prick test, a drop of the allergen is placed on your forearm or back. Then your skin is pricked so the allergen can enter your skin. If you are allergic to the allergen, you’ll have a reaction such as an itchy red bump
