Symptoms Food Allergies are now so common that it is routine for kids to be with an- other food-allergic child when away from home. Most often, these children are allergic to milk, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, tree nuts,

but potentially any food can cause reactions. Ac- cording to the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, af- fected areas/symptoms can include: SKIN: itching, hives, redness, swelling NOSE: sneezing, stuffy nose, runny nose MOUTH: itching, swell- ing of the lips or tongue
