Waxman Ceramics Makes A Splash With New Pool & Spa Brochure

Waxman Ceramics, the largest distributor and importer of mosaic tiles in the UK, used the recent SPATEX exhibition to launch its new ‘Pool & Spa’ brochure.

The ‘Pool & Spa’ brochure is a great resource for the swimming pool industry and is a comprehensive guide to Waxman Ceramics’ extensive collection of established and contemporary mosaic tiles. This year, with the launch of the new-look brochure, comes many new and extended ranges that add further variety to the already vast selection of products under the well known brand name. The brochure itself encompasses a stylish yet practical approach to tile design, with an emphasis on the tranquil areas within a pool and spa setting. Not only does this entail mosaic and floor tiles but also features great design ideas for making the area become a truly unique space.

Acting as a visual guide the Waxman Ceramics ‘Pool & Spa’ brochure directs the user through each range informing them on style, colour, size, material and thickness. This, aided by elegant and detailed pictures of the tiles ‘in situ’,

Fairlocks Revolutionary Activated Filter Media

Displayed recently on the new products section at SPATEX and also on the Fairlocks stand, AFM is a unique bio-resistant activated filter media that offers 30% better filtration than that of silica or glass sand.

is complemented by an informative summary page. The addition of Waxman Ceramics’ Design Service also makes a welcome appearance in the brochure. With a ’Digital Print’ customers can choose a unique image and have it transformed into a high definition mosaic masterpiece, with no detail spared. This modern approach to mosaic design helps to keep Waxman Ceramics at the forefront of the swimming pool industry.

The surface of AFM is self-sterilising so prevents bacteria mud balling, coagulation and worm hole channelling of unfiltered water through the bed. Activation increases the surface area by 300 times and the nano- structure adsorbs pollutants to produce crystal clear water with no chlorine smell. AFM eradicates the build-up of biofilm so the filter remains bacteria free, reducing the level of chlorine use.

By introducing AFM in place of other less effective media the biological risk from bacteria and parasites together with the chemical risk is significantly reduced making the pool a far safer place for all pool users and a hugely improved swimming experience.
