Jacksonville, Cecil Airport (VQQ) is the Jacksonville Aviation Authority's (JAA) third general aviation airport and fourth airport overall. With easy access to air and rail connections and a deep-water port, Cecil Airport's facilities are ideally suited for aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul operations, and a variety of aviation-related industrial and commercial developments. Cecil Airport is a significant economic engine for the local community. It provides an effective base of operations for corporate aircraft, general aviation, air cargo and National Guard and Reserve aviation. The airport has four, 200-foot wide runways, the longest of which is 12,500 feet. In addition, Cecil Airport is a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) licensed spaceport, one of only eight in the United States, and the first in Florida. Herlong Recreational Airport (HEG) is used for sport

Jacksonville Executive at Craig Airport (JAXEX),


formerly Craig Airport, was renamed to better reflect its role in Jacksonville's airport system. Located on the Southside, near office parks and downtown, the airport provides convenient access to executives flying in and out of the city. Three First Coast airports lie outside of Jacksonville. In


Nassau County, the Fernandina Beach Municipal Airport (FBMA) serves Amelia Island and is also a reliever for JAX. The airport is located on Amelia Island, approximately three miles south of the downtown historic district of Fernandina Beach and less than two miles from Amelia Island's beaches, hotels, vacation rentals and resort accommodations. The airport has three runways, all more than 5,000 feet in length. FBMA also offers convenient access to Jacksonville, approximately 25 miles to the south. Keystone Heights Airport (42J) serves travelers in Clay

UST) is located in the center of the dynamic Northeast Florida region.
