LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE CAPS A PERFECT 75TH
ANNIVERSARY YEAR
The beauty of the Santa Catalina
Mountains. Picture-perfect weather. A first-class resort hotel. Record attendance. Outstanding sponsor participation. Thought-provoking programs. Recognition of current and past industry and safety leaders. Compelling speakers. Quality entertainment. The best Foundation auction ever. Championship golf. A look back. A look ahead. A celebration of who we were, are and all we can be! That was “Diamonds in the Desert”—
the 75th Anniversary Leadership Conference held Oct. 25-27 at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson. From the opening of the standing-room only annual membership meeting by Chairman George Cravens, to the closing 75th Anniversary Gala, the conference was deemed “outstanding” by a
majority of attendees responding to the post- conference survey. As is true each year, ATA depends
upon the generosity of dozens of sponsors to stage a quality event. The 75th Anniversary conference was no exception, and our sponsorship support was simply outstanding. Our sponsors are listed at the end of this article and we thank them! And you can thank them in the best way possible – by giving them your business when you purchase products or services! We hope you enjoy these snapshots of
the conference – and that you will plan to attend in 2013. The dates are Oct. 3-5 and, by popular demand, we are returning to the Ritz Carlton Dove Mountain northwest of Tucson. Watch for more details coming in the spring.
