super market hello ANOTHER YEAR HAS FLOWN BY!

On behalf of the management of Volga-Dnepr Group, I wish to thank all of our loyal customers, partners and suppliers for supporting us throughout 2013, which has been another year of strong development across our Group activities.

We have seen many highlights during the course of the year, including the completion of our major 88-flight project in Papua New Guinea, growth in the oil and gas, energy, mining and aerospace sectors, and expansion of the Group’s Boeing 747-8F fleet. We’ve also opened new maintenance and repair operations in Leipzig-Halle and Sharjah and were honoured with two top prizes in the annual ‘Wings of Russia’ aviation awards.

2013 has also seen growth in the number of Volga-Dnepr Group customers taking advantage of the full range of integrated logistics services offered by our Engineering & Logistics Centre, where we can manage an entire end-to-end delivery or provide specific solutions for customers needing to transport outsize and heavyweight cargo. This has extended our capability and reputation beyond just air charter and given the level of customer interest, we are confident this part of our business will be a fast growth area in 2014.

The economic indicators for the year ahead are cautiously optimistic and we are certainly sensing more business

confidence when we talk with customers and in the level of advance planning for flights and projects over the course of the next 12 months.

Let’s hope we all have a year of strong, sustained growth.

This year, instead of producing diaries and calendars, we have instead used this budget to provide charitable assistance to social welfare facilities in the areas affected by floods in the Amur region in Russia. We have donated money to boarding school/orphanage number 13 in Pivan, Khabarovsk Krai to buy the equipment and appliances it needed to start functioning again, included a diesel power plant and a cultivator.

Volga-Dnepr Airlines and AirBridgeCargo employees also organised for the children to write a ‘Letter to Ded Moroz (Russian Santa)’ and these were then distributed to Group staff at our Russian offices who had the opportunity to become ‘Santa’ for a particular child and make their gift wish come true. Thanks to the support and generosity of our staff, we were able collect all of the gifts for the children within two days.

On December 13, the gifts donated by Volga-Dnepr and ABC staff and the equipment purchased by the Group

were delivered to Khabarovsk region by AirBridgeCargo, and on December 19-20 five members of our team visited the orphanage to help make some Christmas wishes come true.

I wish you and your families a happy festive season and a healthy and prosperous New Year.

DENNIS GLIZNOUTSA Vice President, Development
