cabin, we drove over to our home for the next three days − well, nights, anyway. Bryson Lake Lodge is family-
oriented with a playground for the kids and the sports room. There are lots of activities for families: fishing, hiking, canoeing, four- wheeling, kayaking, paddleboats, volleyball, horseshoes, or just basking in the sun. If bear hunting is your thing,
Bryson Lake Lodge can look after your needs with Guides and tree stands that are baited for the big bruins. In fact, the success rate for bear hunting is 80 per cent. Americans Jim Snodgrass and his 15-year-old son, Jason, were visiting, and the young lad was successful in his first-ever bear hunt.

12. It had everything we needed, including full kitchen facilities, indoor bathroom and electricity − all the comforts of home. Full shower facilities were a 20-second walk away. We had our own private dock at
the water’s edge where our two 16- foot boats with 15 hp motors were ready to go. While we were waiting for
Jesse to get to the lodge, we had a chance to do some fact-finding about Bryson Lake Lodge. The main lake is a huge body of water that holds beautiful walleye and some monster lake trout. We would be trying for both. There are also a few smaller lakes nearby that hold some beautiful speckle or brook trout. The lodge has boats on these
lakes and rents electric trolling motors and batteries at very reasonable prices. The lakes are just a short drive from the main lodge. Jesse arrived around one p.m.
