STUDY WITH ACCA IN LONDON
‘UK tuition has an excellent reputation and so I decided to apply to Kaplan Financial to study in London,’ says Deep Laxman Sukhwani, who came to England to study from India. Although nervous about leaving home, Deep overcame his initial misgivings by making friends in London.
Deep says, ‘studying here has been the best experience of my life so far, and there is so much to see and do that sometimes it can be overwhelming. The quality of the education, excellent tutors, online technology…all this has resulted in a much better experience than I was expecting’.
Deep has now settled into his studies, yet the transition was not entirely easy. Deep remarks, ‘the UK is undoubtedly very different to what I expected and these differences are probably why many international students have a tough time at first, especially those coming from developing nations. But learning about these differences should be a positive experience.’
Deep feels that research and preparation are key to succeeding when studying abroad. He says, ‘when I was doing my research I discovered a lot of useful information on the ACCA website, and also found online forums to be very helpful and supportive, and a good way to get answers to many questions’.
‘Above all, one of ACCA’s best features is its availability, making it very easy to call and discuss study and career options before you make your journey.’
