emphasis on business in Asia. It offers a strong core foundation and more than 50 electives to cater to specialised needs, interests and career objectives of individual students. The programme content is kept updated to maintain alignment with best practices and latest innovations. Students are also trained to analyse problems from multiple perspectives and propose viable and innovative solutions. NUS Business School emphasises problem-based learning, cases and group-based discussions. As we are part of a university comprising 16 faculties and schools, all NUS MBA students also have the opportunity to further enrich themselves by taking modules outside of the traditional business curriculum.

Designed based on inputs from key stakeholders, including students, practicing managers and faculty, the curriculum, teaching, industry outreach efforts and student services are constantly reviewed and enhanced to ensure that they are well-aligned with the constantly changing global business environment, yet focused on Asia.

In the recent review of the NUS MBA curriculum, a new curriculum that includes a Soft Skills & Experiential Learning component had been introduced. Students get to take Management Communications which is modelled after the training that top consulting firms provide to their new associates, and a Management Practicum which will give students an opportunity to work closely with industry. The new curriculum will be implemented

concurrently with initiatives to enhance teaching delivery and supporting services and provide the complete experience to students

The NUS MBA has consistently received top international rankings from independent publications and agencies in recognition of the quality of its programme, faculty research and graduates. The programme was ranked 23rd globally and 9th for Global Mobility in the Financial Times Global MBA Rankings in 2011 and 2012. Forbes also placed the NUS MBA 1st in Asia and 4th among institutions outside the US in its “Best International 2- Year MBA Programme” rankings.

In the Full–time NUS MBA programme, students complete their studies within 17 months. Internships and an overseas Student Exchange are included in the 17-month program.
