The Pro models feature an incredibly powerful 10hp variable speed counter current with 250mm propeller. In both the Atlantis and Nautilus Pro ranges sold by the company the water is clear, with no air bubbles.
The main pump is made by Riverflow in the USA, and often used in water parks. The Riverflow pump is connected to a variable speed drive, which allows the swimmer to increase or decrease the counter-currents. At its fastest level, the counter-current is pushing out 3,500 gallons a minute, which is equal to 8 mph water speed. At its lowest setting, a small child could do a comfortable doggy paddle, and in between are 50 separate swimming speeds which you set on the visual display.
The Pro models use surprisingly little energy – all you need is a 32 amp supply. This is possible because the power is built up and down gently.

The strategy is to exhibit at major and prestigious events such as the Ideal Home Exhibition, the London Boat Show and the Christmas Ideal Home to reach the maximum number of people. It is a marketing strategy which will be repeated for 2013 on the back of the high levels of interest this year.
Hydropool, now has a new UK showroom base in Portsmouth, where the self cleaning system continues to attract lots of attention. It’s a system which cleans 100% of the water every 45 minutes.
All Hydropool pumps offer ‘evergreen efficiency’ – 30% less amperage than traditional pumps. AquaSport is Hydropool’s entry level swim spa for the person who wants to swim regularly and maintain a high level of fitness. Going through the Hydropool range reflects the requirements of the swim spa owner. The AquaTrainer is aimed at the committed swimmer who is looking for a
more rigorous work out and an above average level of fitness. At the top end of the Aqua Trainer range there’s the swim spa for triathlons and competition swimmers. It is this top end range which has been endorsed by Olympic and Commonwealth medalist Sharron Davies. Hydropool swim spas come complete with powerful swim jets that enable the user literally to swim-in-place on a jet of water, controllable for speed dependant on age, strength and technique.
Available in two sizes, either 14’ (4.3m) or 17’ (5.2m) they can be either surface mounted onto a concrete base, semi-sunk into a deck or fully sunk into the ground, indoors or outdoors. All Hydropool swim spas also come complete with their own heating, filtration, underwater lighting and water purification systems.
