Fitness Instructor •Lead fitness exercise sessions, personal training sessions, group training experiences, in - service education sessions. •Safeguard all Clients, Guests, Members, Colleagues and Team Members throughout each experience, while upholding the philosophy of the spa fitness center. •Maintain professional certifications while continually pursuing a greater degree of knowledge and expertise through self-study, in-services offered, program development and other continuing education efforts. •Maintain accurate records of all personal training clients, classes taught, coaching sessions and other professional services provided. •Qualifications - minimum of 1 year experience in fitness-wellness fields. Qualified in REPS level 2 or equivalent, Personal Training qualification would be an asset •Experience instructing and leading exercise in an adult fitness setting, using appropriate form and spotting techniques.Experience in administering PAR-Q, health risk and history, fitness assessments, and client consultation.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Beaumonts Health Club. This key role will include, amongst other things, deputising the General Manager as and when required; and the line management of the fitness, customer retention, reception and sales teams.

You will have previous management experience in a leisure environment and hold a current First Aid at Work certificate and NPLQ qualification or have the ability to gain these once appointed. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge and experience in sales, including generating leads, marketing, and sales processes.

Nottingham club for The Gym Group

Low-cost health club operator Te Gym Group has expanded its UK portfolio to 10 sites with the launch of a new gym in Nottingham. Te opening forms part of the chain’s bid to

further expand the business, with four more clubs scheduled to open by spring 2011. Launched on 16 November, the new

Nottingham facility is open 24 hours a day and offers monthly membership for £15.99 with no minimum contract. Te Gym Group has also revealed that 70

per cent of the fitness equipment is energy efficient, while the site’s lighting and shower systems will operate on timers.
