10.11 A NOTE FROM THE EDITORS

They’re heeeeeere – just in time for Halloween! Our brand-new group of first-year staffers have inter-

viewed, researched and written so much that their hands are about to fall off. We are all so excited to have such a cheerful, energetic group of staffers. Being a first-year is hard work – they’ve had to learn layouts and stuff their faces with the baked goods that are in constant supply. New team editors are adjusting to their jobs. Mawal took her first story with interviews consisting of sign language while Madelyn took a story about a legitimate time capsule and “dug deeper.” It’s hard work, but we keep ourselves going. It’s the little things that make Scribbler the staff we are – helping someone new with InDesign, eating delicious dinners on work-night, viewing girl-shorts on our male staffers; things that make us the staff we are every year. We always have prepared and energetic and always ready to bring fresh ideas to the magazine, just for our readers.
