Translite LLC, has introduced an im- proved version of the Veinlite EMS with two new features. The first is a change to 12 orange LEDs and 4 Red LEDs for better imaging of veins compared to the previous version of the devce. The second is a low battery indica- tor light that comes on when the batteries are down to 20% of their power. The new im- proved Veinlite EMS has been field tested and has been found to be better at finding veins in all types of skin colors.
The Veinlite EMS is lightweight, portable and fits in your pocket. It is designed to help stretch the skin and anchor the vein to keep it from rolling during venous access. This unique de- sign makes it easier to use during ve- nous access. Disposable plastic covers are used to reduce the inter-patient cross contamination and infection.
