Universal Marina’s owner, Avia Willment has developed a flourishing business out of her passion for Metre Boats. Over the last 8 years Universal Yacht Care has expanded to include modern and classic boats, from small trailer sailors through to large luxury yachts covering all manor of works from the obscure small problem to a full refit on both sail and power boats. Alongside the new fully serviced marina and commercial
units for rent, Universal Yacht Care offers under-
cover storage which is becoming a rare commodity on the River Hamble. We also have shore side boat storage and equipment stores. The extent of our service provision is unlimited and covers all aspects of Woodwork, GRP, Painting, Varnishing, Rigging, engineering, Equipment servicing & electronics, sails - both new, repairs and laundering, deck gear and valeting. Summer Program for the Universal Marina
Summer 2011, Universal Marina sponsors the J Cup taking place in Guernsey offering a free annual berth as one of the regatta prizes. Universal has been host to many visitors and customers over the years 6 mr, 8 mr, 12 mr & 2012 sees both 8 mr & 12 mr Worlds in the UK. We can offer a full campaign service covering all your needs.
2011 sees our boats competing in the 6 mtr Worlds in Finland as well as the full British race program. Avia will be attending the Panerai Classic Week, Cowes from the 16th - 23rd July run by the British Classic Yacht Club with an assortment of metre boats, some prepared & maintained by Universal Yacht Care.

FOR SALE Siris, an International 8 metre racing yacht, famous in the Mediterranean, pre-war, for winning the Coupe de France. She was fully restored by Fairlie Restoration and re-entered the classic racing scene at the 8 mr World Championships in 2000 and went on to be winner in class of the Voile de St Tropez in 2005. Siris has had various articles written about her including being named in the top 200 most beautiful yachts by Classic Boat Magazine. 2012 sees the return of this once Olympic class to race for the World Championships at Cowes hosted by the Royal Yacht Squadron.
