Qualifi cations Development Administrator (Lifesaving & First Aid)


Full-time – 35 hours per week based in Walsall Salary – based on experience

To support this, the STA now wishes to appoint a new Qualifi cations Development Administrator, who’s primary technical focus will be lifesaving / lifeguarding and fi rst aid, so an understanding of the STA’s qualifi cations (or equivalent) is essential.


The successful candidate will also have good communication and problem solving skills, and the ability to work fl exibly to meet the needs of the organisation.

Rivers Health and Fitness are looking to recruit a Health and Fitness Manager for our standalone private members club situated by the River Thames in Reading.


The club is looking for an individual with strong operational and sales & marketing experience from within the health and fi tness industry. We require a self motivated person who can work alone and as part of a team, to drive forward membership sales as well as develop and improve the current operating procedures. As well as the required gym qualifi cations, a pool plant qualifi cation or experience working with wet areas is preferred.


The successful candidate will have sole responsibility for managing their department and the gym team, and will be required to work evenings and weekends when required as part of the shift rota.

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Fitness Leader to join our existing team of staff, working with pupils, staff and visitors to the School’s Sports Centre. This is a year round appointment, working an average of 40 hours per week according to a 4-week rolling rota.


Applicants will either hold a relevant industry qualification and/or a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification and will ideally have some previous experience of writing fitness programmes, conducting fitness testing and working with young adults. Opportunity will be given for further training.
