This is Delmer and Cecil inviting all our old friends and soon to be new ones to join us here in the pages of “BOUNDER” magazine for our insightful and expert advice on a wide variety of issues that affect us all.
Drawing on a life of interesting and varied experi- ences in the “Valley” we look forward to sharing the knowledge and what some would say “rural simpli- city” with you all. Whether it be how to fix a jammed spreader or ejectile dysfunction or perhaps sharing some of our secrets on how to hit the bullseye with the opposite sex (girls), we’ll be right there with you along the way. For example; we received a letter from Clarence Deavey of Concession Rd 4 near Balderson just the other day, it says:
Dear Delmer and Cecil
My wife Wanda recently signed up for a popular weight loss scheme (three months ago) and is real happy with it! The problem is she’s bigger than ever! She’s got a rear end like something you’d see on National Geographic with a pack of lions tryin to bring it down! It’s a tricky situation, how do I tell her it’s not working, it could be dangerous!

Listen Clarence, you married her, don’t come whining to us cause she’s the size of a horse! But if I were you I’d pack a bag and start the car and as you pull out of the laneway yell ”Hey Wanda, you’re fat”! This is best done when you’re leavin’ for a hunt- ing or fishing trip! Say it in a sensitive way though, there’s no point in being cruel!
Next issue we’ll talk about political correctness and how to get along with all the snivelling weanies that are around now.
