Holiday Parks with Attractions seek Managing Director in SW of England.

This established holiday accommodation and attractions business seeks a strong character concerned for our fast-future development and how we look after our people.

Gulliver’s currently operate 3 theme parks, 1 Farm & Dinosaur park, 1 camping and caravanning site and 2 Splash Zones. Due to our continued success and future expansion plans 3 rare and exciting opportunities have become available to join our team.

You will have a professional approach, with excellent communication skills, a drive to succeed, and a commitment to delivering a quality service, combined with relevant reasonable experience of working in the leisure industry.

Theme Park General Manager

£30 - 40k PA (Warrington)

Warrington is a 60 acre site with 37 rides, 11 catering and 5 retail units. You will take full operational control of all aspects of the site and the development of its team.

Theme Park Duty Manager

£20 - 30k PA (Milton Keynes)

Milton Keynes is a 40 acre site with 30 rides, 10 catering and 3 retail units it encompasses 1 Splash Zone and a Farm and Dinosaur park. You will assist the General Manager in the smooth running of the park.

Theme Park Duty Manager

£20 - 30k PA (Matlock)

Matlock is a 20 acre site with 22 rides, 5 catering and 2 retail units. You will assist the General Manager in the smooth running of the park.

We are looking for an enthusiastic General Manager to increase the museum’s income generation by developing its events programme, room lettings, retail and catering activities and improving its marketing.

The museum opened to critical acclaim last summer and is a popular destination in Bury’s developing town-centre. It has a small, talented and enthusiastic staff and is home to the town’s TIC.

General Manager

WWT Slimbridge, Gloucestershire Attractive salary and benefi ts package

Slimbridge is where Sir Peter Scott started the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust in 1946 and is often described as the birth place of modern conservation. Today we are an award-winning visitor centre with 325 hectares of world-class wetlands set against a spectacular Severn estuary backdrop. We have recently benefi ted from a multi- million pound investment.

We are now looking for a commercially focussed individual to take this centre forward, ensure its effective operation and growth. This exciting role involves a wide range of responsibilities including the overall day to day management of the centre, development of business opportunities and the promotion of the centre and our vital conservation work.

Experience of running and managing a commercial operation is essential and knowledge gained within a visitor attraction would be benefi cial. The ability to communicate, motivate and use IT effectively is essential, as is the need to have an empathy with our conservation work.
