Pitsea Leisure Centre Manager
£28,404 - £30,566 per annum (incl. of fringe)
Pitsea Leisure Centre is one of the Council’s largest community facilities,
including a range of halls and conference rooms, a day care facility, bar
areas and a soft play area. We are seeking a manager to lead the team
into the future, making Pitsea Leisure Centre a real hub of the community.
You will be directly responsible for the development and delivery of
a strategic business plan, as well as the operation of the facility on a
day-to-day basis. You will be required to ensure maximum usage of
the facilities to meet community needs. You will also be responsible
for the programming, promotion and co-ordination of the centre’s
facilities and activities.
You will have significant experience of managing a leisure/community
facility, as well as a proven track record of achieving business/
commercial objectives and service development. Excellent customer
service skills are essential.
You will be required to undergo a disclosure check with the Criminal
Records Bureau and will in future be subject to referral to the national
