rees are beautiful, life-giving and magical. To artist, Oryan, they are a perfect analogy for human life. In a complex world of constant interactions and demands, Oryan wishes to show the viewer a life pared down to one entity - a tree. Like trees, we all stand strong and individual at times. As
paint, translucent micas, crushed stone and crystals painstakingly applied over time and finished with a high-polish epoxy surface for maximum appeal and protection. Oryan engages the use of paintbrushes, welding tools, blowtorches and his bare hands, moving between working flat on the floor and on an upright easel. Always having
Oryan spends 2-4 weeks on an individual creation and remains constantly aware of new, inventive interactions between the materials.

Oryan’s trees are meant to show us that progress in one single, mesmerizing image. To convey this vision, Oryan uses his self- discovered “liquid fusion” technique. This process requires 30-40 layers of acrylic
