Q&A Sergio Millanes Director, Tenerife North Airport

What do you think the most important opportunities for Tenerife North Airport are? North Airport connects to 23 destinations in five countries through 11 airlines and it is well connected with our national market. We also consider Africa a big opportunity, due to the strategic situation of the airport and the multiple business opportunities that Tenerife provides.

San Cristobal de La Laguna

What incentives do you offer

TENERIFE-NORTH AIRPORT (TFN)

Puerto de la Cruz La Orotava Fasnia

How do you differentiate yourself from your competitors? We provide the same safe and high quality service as at Tenerife South, and Tenerife North offers an easy passenger transit as well as being close to the main cities on the island.

Santa Cruz de Tenerife

to airline partners? Aena offers the same incentives that are available at Tenerife South, although the off-peak day is Friday.

What are your future plans? We are focused on improving facilities and services, to improve the passenger experience, and upgrading the exterior of the buildings, modernising the toilets and building new ones. This work consists of the renewal of the current 12 bathrooms, the construction of two new toilets upstairs and the demolition of temporary toilets in the arrivals hall. Baby changing tables will also be installed in all bathrooms in the terminal, both male and female. The total cost for these works is ¤533,000.
