Lynx scores with SCORT

Staying true to its company values of always being innovative and forward-thinking, Lynx is set to revolutionise the golf bag market with the launch of its amazing new SCORT bag system

S

CORT (Stand/Cart Outer Replacement Technology) represents a radical new re- think of the way golfers buy and use golf

bags, giving the consumer the opportunity to create a variety of bags with just one frame. Specially-designed different outer ‘skins’ like

cart, stand or waterproof varieties, can be attached to a special patented frame allowing the golfer to always have a bag at hand to suit their playing needs that day - whether they plan to carry a stand bag, use a waterproof cart bag with a trolley, or travel in a golf buggy. So, gone are the days when golfers had to cater

for those eventualities by clogging up their garages with many different bags. With SCORT, there's just one robust frame to store (which can itself be easily dismantled) and soſter outer skins to take up much less room elsewhere. And while storage issues are minimised,

golfers also save money - only buying outers instead of several bags.

Green benefits Lynx also views the SCORT very much as

having a positive environmental impact. The revolutionary system could see a dramatic reduction in the numbers of golf bags being sent to landfill, as players replace just the outers over time rather than entire bags. For the retailer, packaging waste is minimised -

as several SCORT outers can be delivered in a box size currently used for just one traditional cart or stand bag. And for Lynx, materials, packaging and

transports costs are reduced, which they intend to pass back to the retailer through keeping margins as high as possible across their 2016 product range. Said Lynx Golf CEO, Steve Elford: "At Lynx our aim is always to identify the latest technology and make it available to golfers. We are absolutely doing that with the SCORT bag system, which is yet another exciting and dynamic development being introduced to market by Lynx. "We unveiled SCORT at our recent 2016

launch at the BT Tower in London and the interest in the product from the golf media who attended was phenomenal. The feedback we received was that SCORT is a genuine first for golf - something that has not be seen before - and that it will be a product that generates a huge amount of interest and awareness of the Lynx brand."

Other Lynx highlights for 2016 Alongside SCORT, Lynx has refreshed its

collection for 2016 with a number of key product upgrades. The brand's iconic and well-loved Black Cat

range sees revolutionary new irons introduced. The irons come in a choice of either a predominantly red or blue colour-way and the innovative new design incorporates many of Lynx's game-changing features - Lynx’s unique twin-slot technology, an expensive, high-quality two-piece head incorporating bi-metal technology, cup-face construction and a new form of EET (Effective Energy Transfer) combine together to produce performance which will

the rear to allow for forgiveness on off-centre hits, thereby delivering improved distance and feel, while the 'cup face’ design makes the face more forgiving by making the sweet spot huge. Regarded widely as Lynx's high quality entry- level men's clubs, the Predator range has also

literally beat anything put against it. Lynx’s unique Twin-Slot Technology not only

increases forgiveness but gives extra power and a low COG. The two-piece head has a body made from 17/4 stainless steel and a maraging steel face, which is rich in nickel for lightness and unparalleled strength. This delivers faster ball speeds and a more penetrating flight.
