Female golfers placed a higher importance on “distance”, and “weight” when purchasing a driver, compared to male golfers.
Over a third (36%) of
golfers bought a new driver in the last year.
Te “feel off the club face ”
was rated the most important factor for the best golfers (cat 1). It’s significance then decreased, as the golfers handicap rose.
The importance of “Price” and “On Promotion/offer” increased as handicap increased.
The average
5% of golfers last bought a driver second-hand.
