Sport Development Diversity grants and scholarships available US Lacrosse has launched several initiatives designed to assist the development of diversity and inclusion in lacrosse. Education advancement scholarships are available to provide academic funding support for participants of color, ages 11-17, who excel on the lacrosse fi eld and in the classroom. Other grants
have also been created to support various diversity efforts, ranging from community events to urban outreach. Applications for both the scholarships and the grants are available online at
USLacrosse.org/Inclusion. The submission deadline is Sept. 1.
Sportsmanship grants available US Lacrosse is a proud partner with the Positive Coaching Alliance in shaping the future of youth sports. This partnership aims to make lacrosse a positive, character- building experience for every athlete and to make the experience a more successful one for coaches, parents, fans and offi cials. To facilitate that effort, US Lacrosse is once again offering sportsmanship grants to help leagues obtain PCA memberships. Read more and apply at

Events North Carolina, Wisconsin selected to host youth tournaments US Lacrosse has selected Raleigh, N.C., and Madison, Wis., to host youth tournaments in June 2015. Raleigh will host the US
Lacrosse Southeast Championships for a fi fth consecutive year June
5-7. Madison will host the US Lacrosse Central Championships for a third consecutive year June 12-14. Both events are open to U13 and U15 boys’ and girls’ teams. Team registration will open in the fall, and US Lacrosse will offer special discounts for early-bird and multi-team registration.
