London Info International


Launching this year, London Info International is a new event aimed at connecting the providers and users of online resources and information tools. The focus on the provider side is on science, technology and medical publishers. The event, which is free for visitors, aims to attract content managers and buyers from industry, academia and the public sector. In line with the event’s goals of helping make connections, the event includes speed networking sessions and product showcases as well as more traditional show- floorpresentations. There will also be a drinks reception. London Info International is being held at the Royal Horticultural Halls in London on 24 and 25 November. londoninfointernational.com


ALPSP International Conference


The 2014 ALPSP International Conference will take place at Park Inn Hotel and Conference Centre, London Heathrow, UK from 10 to 12 September.


The conference themes focus on key topics in the industry today – including open access, metrics, big data, discovery and new geographical markets. Following on from discussions at last year’s conference, the meeting will also look at the changing relationships and roles within scholarly communication and how smaller publishers can compete with the bigger players. As usual, the event will feature
