UNITED WE LIFT! Membership Drive 2013 Recap


From June 1-July 31, 2013 and Oct. 1-Dec. 2, USA Weightlifting held the first ever “United We Lift” membership drive.


United We Lift is a challenge for our clubs to gain as many new members (to the USA Weightlifting membership) as possible in that amount of time.


The first membership drive recognized the top three regis- tered USA Weightlifting clubs by rewarding first place with 20 Red Carpet passes for the United Red Carpet Lounge, second place with 15 passes and third place with 10 passes. Our first place winner last round was Hassle Free Barbell with a whopping 87 new members; in second place was WarriorZ Barbell; and third Iron Soul Barbell.


Our second membership drive was conducted Oct. 1- Dec. 2. Due to the great success of the first membership drive, we decided to make rewards to registered USA Weightlifting clubs bigger and better! First place was a free domestic round trip ticket, second place was 20 Red Carpet Club passes and third place was 15 Red Carpet Club passes. At the conclusion of the contest, first place was Burnsville Weightlifting Club with 36 new members; in sec- ond place was East Coast Gold; and third was Team Praxis.


Looking forward to the 2014 year, we will be again con- ducting the United We Lift membership contest from Jan. 1-April 1, prizes will remain the same as the last quarter.
