the official UK industry stands, which we run at Gamescom and Game Connection Paris. While it’s amazing to see


exciting new start-ups appearing across the country, scaling these businesses up is a challenge, and long-term success is not guaranteed. That’s why we need to get the games production tax credits through the European Commission as quickly as possible for the UK industry.


Europe needs more games businesses making titles with a distinct European identity to advocate our unique culture and talent, which in turn will be the greatest advertisement for young people to get into the industry, and for other companies to base themselves in the UK. We have fantastic potential with our start-up culture: let’s make the wider European cluster a powerful global leader.
