voltage power amplifiers and high- performance electrostatic instrumen-

tation, is introducing a new high- speed, high-voltage amplifier — the Model 20/20C-HS. This new ±20kV four-quadrant

DC-stable amplifier provides a high speed of response with slew rate greater than 800V/µs, output current to ±60mA peak AC, and large signal bandwidth of DC to greater than 5.2kHz (1 percent distortion). Model 20/20C-HS expands the

company’s high speed product line and will enable technological ad- vancement in many indus- tries including aerospace, automotive, biotechnology, defense, electronics, energy, instrumentation, laborato- ry, medical, military, power, semiconductors, and tele - com munications. Applications include

use in particle accelerators, plasma research and di- electric applications. Addi- tional applications include AC or DC biasing, delta tan testing, dielectric barrier discharge, electro- coalescence, electro-optic modula- tion, electrospinning, electrostatic deflection, fusion research, insula- tion breakdown testing, ion beam steering, material characterization (ferroelectrics) and material poling. The amplifier incorporates an

all-solid-state design to deliver high slew rate, wide bandwidth and low- noise operation. This unit provides precise control of output voltages in the range of 0 to ±20kVDC or peak AC with an output current range of 0 to ±20mA DC or ±60mA peak AC for 1 ms. It is configured as a non-inverting amplifier with a fixed gain of 2000V/V.

September, 2013 TREK: Rapid Response High-Voltage Power Amplifier The four-quadrant, active out-

put stage sinks or sources current into reactive or resistive loads throughout the output voltage range. This is essential for achieving the ac- curate output response and high slew rates demanded by reactive loads. The unit is protected against

over-voltage and over-current condi- tions that may be generated by active loads or by output short circuits to ground.

High-voltage power amplifier. Precision voltage and current

monitors provide low-voltage repre- sentations of the high-voltage output and load current for monitoring pur- poses or for use as feedback signals in a closed loop system. The remote high-voltage on/off

feature provides a connection for a remote device to turn on/off the high- voltage output, making the Model 20/20C-HS suitable for automated or computer-controlled systems. It is

CE compliant. Contact: Trek, Inc., 190 Walnut

Fabrico Offers 3M and DNP High-Temp Label Materials

Kennesaw, GA — Fabrico offers ma- terials and thermal transfer ribbon from leading suppliers 3M and DNP for bar code labels in circuit board applications, where high heat is a

significant factor. Temperature-sen- sitive applications require special- ized materials that can stand up to high heat. To address this need, Fabrico

provides 3M™ Thermal Transfer Polyimide Label Material 7812 — a film product that offers ultra-high temperature performance. Utilizing 3M Adhesive 100, this product can withstand up to 450°F (232°C) short- term resistance, has excellent sol- vent resistance, and exhibits low out- gassing characteristics. In addition, Fabrico offers

DNP’s R510HF Ultra Durable Resin, one of the toughest thermal transfer ribbons on the market. R510HF is the only halogen-free resin ribbon ca- pable of handling extreme environ- ments with exceptional scratch and solvent resistance. And because it is halogen-free, it helps electronics manufacturers to remove potentially toxic compounds from their products. 3M Thermal Transfer Polyimide

Label Material 7812 and DNP’s R510HF Ultra Durable Resin thermal transfer ribbon are recommended for a variety of electronic applications, in- cluding: films, cables (data & commu- nication), connectors, mechanical plastic parts, adhesives, vibration dampening parts, electronics compo- nents, printed circuit boards, and poly

vinyl chloride (PVC). Contact: Fabrico, 190 Walnut
