We’d hoped to be able to announce it in this issue, but it’s imminent – we will have a version of fRoots for iPads and other tablet computers soon, hopefully within the next month. Keep an eye on the web site.

The lucky winner of our

Womex 2013 Competition, gaining a pair of tickets to the Opening Concert and all the Showcases was Kate Goodale of Bridgewater Arts Centre. Runners up who get tickets to all the showcases were Wendy Whitelock of Kilgetty, Pembrokeshire; Hope Simpson of Oxford; Terry Graham of Faversham; Roger Harbord of Exeter and Faron Moller of Swansea. They all knew that Nansi Richards and Catrin Finch were both official harpists to the Prince of Wales.

And that, we think, is the

most news we’ve ever crammed into an issue of fRoots! Apologies for any that couldn’t fit!
