Fusing low cost LED lighting with a fabic fronted light box to create a dynamic new product that showcases graphics in a stylish and modern design. The light frames offer retailers the ability to change the fabric graphic quickly and easily and the use of light helps draw consumers’ attention and creates a focial point within the store. Retailers who have already utilised this product include Villeroy & Boch, VI‐Spring and Fleur B.
The frames of the light box are constructed from aluminum with a flexible plastic composite strip sewn onto all four edges of the fabric graphic that enables it to be pushed in to the frame, leaving only 1mm of the frame showing on each side. This gives a stunning “edgeless” feel to the display. LEDs configured in a matrix pattern are incorportaed in to the back panel and the use of LED technology means the display is very economical to run and doesn’t get hot to the touch.
