This is an advanced collegiate coach clinic for each of the disciplines (rifl e, pistol and shotgun). USAS is providing this clinic at no charge to any collegiate coach who has an interest in international shooting and helping their athletes (that are interested) get on/stay on the Olympic path. USAS is providing the fi rst 50 collegiate coaches dorm room and meals. SCTP is providing $100 travel subsidy (airfare, gas if driving, etc.).

This is an opportunity for anyone interested in taking the NRA/USAS/CMP Level 1 Coach Courses
(rifl e, pistol or shotgun). The ASEP course (“how to be a coach” is endorsed by the US Olympic Com- mittee) will be offered to those interested in earning their Level 2 certifi cation. We are also offering the Level 3 Rifl e and Level 3 Pistol coach courses. You must already be a Level 2 certifi ed coach to take these courses. Because a Level 3 shotgun coach course is not ready yet, USAS will host an ‘advanced shotgun coach clinic’ (international/Olympic style shotgun only).

This is the biennial coach conference (every two years) where coaches from all over the country (and
a few from other countries) have the opportunity to exchange ideas, learn about various association programs, USAS national coach panel, USAS national team athlete panel discuss on what makes a good coach, fundraising 101, lead management, gun fi tting, ISSF rule update and 20 other topics of interest to coaches. On Saturday evening, there will be a USA Shooting Hall of Fame Induction banquet where you can meet past and present Olympic shooting team alumni as well as welcome the newest USAS Hall of Fame inductees.
