LED DESIGNED FOR LOW- WATTAGE SPACES

LEDtronics has made available its SLF467-UL Series of S6 candela- bra-based seven-LED, ETL-regis- tered light bulbs for decorative and architectural applications, such as low-wattage nightlights and aisle-seat lighting. The LED operates on 120VAC input volt-

age, providing 4 candelas of bright light typically

with only 1 watt of energy. The E12 screw-based clear miniature lamp series is available in 3000K warm white color and offers a wide view- ing angle of 120 degrees.

LIGHTING IS FOR 24-SEVEN APPLICATIONS Lunera Lighting Inc. has released its Lunera SERIES SL4, a bi-level 4-foot LED designed to operate in a lower power standby mode until switched on or activated by integrated motion sensors. Designed with 24-hour, seven-day applications in mind, the fixture draws 24 watts in an active mode and 5W in standby. It outputs 1,900 lumens of 5000K cool light, making it ideal for service areas and emergency corridors. The series, which is available with dual 360-degree field adjustable zone linkable motion sensors, is UL Listed and LM79 tested.

SOLAR MODULE BOASTS MORE OUTPUT LG Electronics has introduced the MonoX NeoN premium series solar module, which features the same 60-cell panel design of the previous MonoX module but boasts a higher maximum high-efficiency output of 300 watts with 18.3 percent module efficiency. Selective emitter and fine electrode technologies have been added along with LG’s unique anti-reflection coating technology. At 16.8 kilograms, the new solar mod- ule is 11.1 percent lighter than previous models.

HANDRAILS PROTECT AGAINST MICROBES InPro Corp. has intro- duced its SureContact Antimicrobial Handrails, which incorporate sanitized zinc pyrithi- one technology to help reduce microorgan- isms. Because the technol-

ogy is anchored into the material at the molecular level, rather than applied to the surface, the handrails have a permanently protective fin- ish. The active ingredient electrically depolarizes the microbe’s membrane, which does not promote microbe cell mutation and does not leach into the surrounding environment.
