Messagemaker Helps Attract Attention for JD Sports
A new digital LED display screen from Messagemaker Systems is helping to increase footfall at JD Sports’ flagship store in Oxford Street. Installed in time for the retailer’s key selling period, the three metre by two metre moving display delivers an immediate visual impact, providing a bright counterpoint to conventional printed window displays. A full colour display and looping video content is designed to capture the attention of passersby on both sides of the street, helping to promote the JD Sports brand 24/7 while drawing attention to current promotions and offers.

Rohan Invests in New Visual Merchandising System
British outdoor clothing brand Rohan has announced the installation of a new instore merchandising system meant to
immerse customers into the brand’s world and put products in context. After successfully launching an eCommerce website a few years ago, the retailer is taking its crosschannel strategy to the next level. The company will be presenting its 40 year history and advertising the products on offer using instore screens to reinforce its strong visual identity. The cloudbased digital signage software of Dynamax,
digitalsignage.NET, powers
the 19inch LG displays and allows headquarters to disseminate communications to selected stores. While content is managed centrally, the headquarters involve staff in choosing what files are to be played on screens in their stores. The new media solution can be seen in Rohan stores from Salisbury, Guildford and Bristol.
