Sennheiser stalwart looks to strengthen company’s market position following the departure of co-founder

DPA MICROPHONES has appointed Susanne Seidel as executive VP sales and marketing. Seidel joins from Sennheiser Electronics, where her most recent position was president of global marketing. Her arrival follows the departure of director and co-founder Morten Støve, following, according to CEO Christian Paulsen, discussions on the future of the business. Seidel says: “I have been

watching DPA Microphones closely for many years and I’m confident that DPA has great market potential with its innovative technology and products.”

After completing a

master’s degree in Business Administration and Economics

She joined Sennheiser in 2001 as market manager for the North and South Americas, rising through the company to become president of global marketing in 2007. In this role she also served on the executive team and as a member of various international sales supervisory boards and entities of the Sennheiser Group. Støve was part of the team

that spun DPA (then Danish Pro Audio Microphones) out of Brüel & Kjaer in 1992 and led it through two decades of growth. www.dpamicrophones.com

of my experience to date – in my parallel careers as a communications professional and music writer and producer. Time spent in studios like Air, Strongroom and Angel gives me a good vantage point from which to understand the needs of SSL customers.” www.solidstatelogic.com
