Even with a few limitations on how far he will drive, he said he has already hauled at least 12 different loads of hay that were arranged through Facebook. As a rancher of 200 head of his own cows, he understands most cattlemen are in immediate need of hay. “When I haul down in south Oklahoma and pull in for fuel, I’ve usually got peo- ple running up to my truck wanting to know if the hay is already sold,” he said. As the drought progresses, the Round brothers said they have no intentions of taking down their Facebook page, and they are considering ex- panding it in the future to an “Ag Connection” site where other commodities are also offered. With more dry con- ditions predicted this winter, Clint said the page will come in handy.
