Webster-Fairport, NY, Lodge mem- bers attended a Christmas Party for Special-Needs Children held by the Town of Webster School Transporta- tion Department and gave a pack of crayons and a Christmas-themed coloring book to each of 120 children with special needs.


Asheville, NC, Lodge, with the help of a $1,000 ENF Gratitude Grant that was added to the more than $10,000 raised by the lodge, held its annual Christmas Shoe Party and treated nearly 300 children to a Christmas carol sing-along and a visit with Santa, who gave each child a pair of shoes, a pair of socks, and a number of other Christmas treats, including toys, books, school supplies, and snacks. Penn Yan, NY, Lodge held an Over the Hump Hot Dog Day for military personnel at Fort Drum and treated attendees to potato chips, cookies, and 240 hot dogs.


Port Jefferson, NY, Lodge donated $5,500 that was raised at the lodge’s annual Stickball Tournament fund- raiser, which 170 people attended, to a charity that sends care packages to US troops serving overseas.


Port Jervis, NY, Lodge members accompanied 200 needy children as they each shopped for $50 worth of clothing at a retail store. After the shopping trip, lodge members treated the children and their siblings to dessert at the lodge followed by a visit with Santa, who gave each child a gift.


Saratoga-Wilton, NY, Lodge members attended a Court of Honor Ceremony for new Eagle Scout Matthew Battle, of Boy Scout Troop No. 11, and gave him a certificate and a US flag. For his Eagle Scout Project, Battle organized a team that removed more than 2,500 pounds of debris and trash from a section of the Kayaderosseras Creek.

Calabash, Oak Island, and Shallotte, NC, Lodge members presented a $10,000 ENF Impact Grant to Hope Harbor, a shelter for victims of domestic violence, to help renovate the shelter’s indoor recreation and study area for children.


West Chester, PA, Lodge members, along with Boy Scout Ryan Pinkowicz and members of Boy Scout Troop No. 225, built a handicapped-accessible ramp for Haley Johnston, who has cerebral palsy.
