This week’s interviewee is Grainger Games’ Emma Clark from the indie’s new Morpeth store…
How well did the launch go? Our opening weekend was a great success. A lot of people came in the store and were happy that we had opened in the town. Most customers know our brand well and so we have had a great start on the back of this awareness.

What are your hopes for 2010? That the store continues to trade well in Morpeth and I am confident this will happen. There are some really exciting products to look forward to in Q4, including Kinect so I hope these perform well for us.
What games have been performing well recently? Red Dead Redemptionhas been a big seller and also LEGO Harry Potter: Y 1-4. Both titles were helped by high
titles this Q3. We also have PlayStation Move to look forward to which should be a strong seller.

What makes your store unique? We are in a fantastic position in this market town and so are really convenient for our customers. The store has been welcomed by all in Morpeth as Grainger Games has brought employment to another local High Street. We also supply the local area with great value for money over a wide variety of formats.
