HYHYYGGGIENEIENE A recent major investment by RJAH Hospital in Oswestry for linen trolleys now
means that all bed linen and towels for ward areas are secure, safe and most
importantly guarded against the spread of infectious disease. The trolleys
are made from a non porous durable Polypropylene which can be wiped,
steam cleaned or autoclaved. Heavy duty castors on the trolley mean that
transportation is easy and quiet in ward areas. A total of 40 trolleys have
been supplied by Ramon Hygiene Products via I R James Associates Ltd who

most hospitals face is that linen is stored and transported using cages. This
leaves clean linen vulnerable to infection before it’s even used. The Ramon
trolleys hold linen securely and are enclosed with lockable doors. RJAH have
also invested in hygiene trolleys for cleaning. With the trolleys ‘modular
design’ system Martine Williams the Facilities Supervisor and Accommodation

requirements needed to provide in her words “the ultimate hygiene cleaning
trolley”. The hygiene trolley has a built in pedal system for waste, is totally
secure and lockable and has a series of other unique features to meet their
needs. The stor age system incorporates drawers (available as lockable) and
can hold up to 50% more equipment than basic trolleys. The trolleys are also
