Ravas iForks
launched
Ravas, the Netherlands-based interna-
tional mobile scale company, has intro-
duced iForks, claimed to be the first com-
pletely wireless scale forks for FLTs, reach
trucks and narrow aisle trucks.
All components are fully integrated in
the forks and there is no external cabling.
The weighing system can be installed onto
any FLT in a matter of minutes, says Ravas.
Each scale fork communicates the
weight lifted to the weight indicator in the
cabin via Bluetooth. The weighing system
is powered by robust, exchangeable bat-
tery modules. All electronics and power
components were developed by Ravas,
which adds that they are not only resistant
to rough use, but also compact, keeping
the fork dimensions (133mm x 58mm)
close to those of standard lift truck forks.
The weight indicator in the cabin
shows the weight of the load on the forks
and offers a complete range of weighing
functions: gross/net weight; total weight
per shipment; code entry; date/time reg-
