SPECIAL FOCUS
Highspeed-Stacker
In co-operation with the design
company Formschluss, Mould & Matic
has configured its PUS with a functional
and modern design. It is marketed as an
optical and trendy addition to the many
different thermoforming machines, to
which the device can be combined.
“The reason for the great demand is the
flexible application of the PUS for the
various existing thermoforming
machines on the market”, said CEO Ing.
Erwin Altendorfer. In less than three
years the PUS has already been
delivered to customers more than
50 times. The design development is
oriented on the latest safety-related and
working-ergonomic standards. The
handling is being optimised by the new
design. The upper parts of the new
machine casing are entirely transparent.
These ‘Tune’ panels are in a curved
shape in combination with straight
surfaces. A motor lifts and lowers these
big and see-through chassis parts on
demand, fully automatically. The
operating and service personnel have
access and a clear view on the
operation sequence. After a technical
optimisation the mandrel control and the
servo-rake were standardised. The
technical modernised PUS combines
the numerous emerged versions from
different thermoforming machines into
one device. The application of a novel
stack conveyor raises the manageable
stack number by 25%.
