Walking in the Cotswolds
With thousands of miles of paths, the Cotswolds presents walkers
of all ages and abilities with unrivalled opportunities to get
closer to nature and experience the English countryside.
As an introduction to the pleasures of walking in the Cotswolds,
enjoy a guided walk with one of the Cotswolds Voluntary
Wardens. If you want to sample the delights of walking in the
Cotswolds yourself, but lack the time or experience to tackle
one of the major routes, VisitCheltenham stocks a wide choice
of guide books featuring family walks, pushchair walks, hill
walks and pub walks.
For the more experienced or dedicated walker, the Cotswolds
provide some great challenges. The 100 mile Cotswold Way from
Chipping Campden to Bath via Cheltenham is the King of all trails.
