Visitors with limited mobility are welcome to use the
excellent facilities of the Cheltenham Shopmobility
scheme. Scooters, powered or manual wheelchairs are
available to hire, for a fee, on proof of identification.
Users also enjoy free car parking whilst using
Shopmobility equipment.

Christmas Shopping Information Centre on the Promenade.
Christmas in Cheltenham starts on Saturday
21st November with the arrival of Father Christmas
to turn on the town’s traditional decorations,
creating a special atmosphere for the festive season.
Christmas markets are loved by everyone, and
Cheltenham’s continental-style Christmas market,
held in the Promenade, will trade from 13th–29th
November (prov). Decorated chalet-type stalls will
sell special craft products and seasonal foods.

Cheltenham town centre offers a seven-day
shopping experience with over 100 shops
open on Sundays from 11.00am.

Twice a month, the Promenade hosts Cheltenham’s
Star FM 107.5FM
Farmers’ Market. Visitors enjoy a great opportunity to
Severn Sound 102.4 FM
sample a wide variety of produce from Gloucestershire
and the Cotswolds. Locally produced honey, chutney,
organic meat, cider, cheeses, vegetables and plants are all
available to tempt the shopper. Normally on the second
and last Friday each month, but check dates with the
Tourist Information Centre. Highly recommended.
A French-style Market also takes place in June and October.
