As we celebrate 125 years of educating professional nurs- es, the Jefferson College of Nursing has been recognized as a key component of Tomas Jefferson University’s mission to define the future of clinical care. Building on our impressive foundation, we are now implementing a new program of study called the Curriculum for Health is H.E.R.E.: humanistic, evidence-based, reflective, and excellence in clinical leaders, changing the way BSN stu- dents are educated and prepared for practice.


Weareseekingvisionary,creativeeducatorstosupport this new concept-based BSN curriculum which is guid- ed by the core themes of practice excellence, population health, interprofessional collaboration, and innovation. Our Immersion Educators will facilitate effective student learning in a variety of clinical educational settings across the care continuum and provide guidance for students acrossmultiple care transitions.


Position requirements focus on these core competencies:


t Clinical: Ability to function with professional account- ability in clinical settings across the care continuum and interprofessional care teams


t Teaching: Ability to create a climate of conceptual learning for positive student outcomes
